Administrator or cashier can view and edit individual user accounts
using and do other user-specific tasks such as:
- crediting or debiting user accounts (i.e. sell a "Calling Card")
- setting up special user accounts for maintenance purposes
- resetting forgotten passwords

Indicates whether or not user can log in next time without having to ask
cashier first. Enabling this option will allow user to log on once without having to authorize with the
cashier. After one successful logon, however, this option will be reset to
again. This is different from marking User Type as trusted in that the
latter is permanent and never reset.
Changing User Type
Is used when creating users of special types (employees,
administrators, customers with special installation preferences etc). Note
that if User Type is specified as Hidden,
and NetSpy operates in "Cashier" mode,
that type will not appear in the selection.
Crediting User Account
Account can be credited to allow user log in without the need of
authorization with cashier. This feature can be used to enable pre-paid
logins.
Shows how much is left on the account. As long as
there is some amount left, all charges will first be deducted from here, and only when
deposit empties will user be charged in cash.
In other words for as long as user has positive deposit on the account he
or she is treated as a trusted.
To add or deduct funds to account press
button. In a dialog that appears (below) enter the amount and press OK.

Both
"Amount" and "Final Credit" fields here are
editable so changing one will affect another. If
radio button is selected instead of ,
money will be deducted from the deposit account, possibly resulting in a
negative balance, which would mean that the user owes money to the house.
Next time this user is
billed, that debt will be added to the cash amount
due. |
