Database screen is used to do operations such as starting and stopping database service, connecting to Database over the network, optimizations and such.

Compact and Repair Database

Can be used optimize the size and performance of NetSpy databases, but you only need to perform this procedure in case there have been many  deletions. 

Database Backup

To protect databases from accidental damage due to the software, hardware or human error, as well as keep databases always optimized, Database Backup option can be used.

Enabling daily database backup is recommended.  Although backup can be done safely anytime, it is recommended specifying off hour time to avoid possible delays if databases are too large. Limiting the size of backup folder will ensure that there are at most so many archival copies saved.

The list of available archives by their dates appears, choose one and click "Restore"
